ANGIE MILLER- DIRECTOR OF TAX SERVICES, PRINCIPAL
One thing that is different at Insight is the level of personal connection we make with our clients that goes beyond delivering tax returns or preparing financial statements. We serve alongside our clients in charitable organizations and see them frequently in community events. We think of our clients as our extended family and when they achieve success we celebrate with them. When there is a downturn in their business or a loss in the family, we grieve with them.
Insight has also built a team of incredibly talented people, many like me who have spent successful years in large firms before joining Insight. Every team member brings a unique talent and perspective that makes our firm stronger. Our team members often tell us that the firm culture at Insight is unique from any other public accounting firm in the area. While we all work hard and work long hours during the busy seasons, we try to make our time together as enjoyable as possible and have developed a fun and inviting firm culture. Our team member turnover rate is very low and I think that is a true testament that we do have a unique work environment, something different than most public accounting firms. As a firm, we try to live up to our core values every day.
I spend time in the community serving on the Oaklawn Foundation Board of Directors. I am active in the Women Business Owners of Michiana (WBOM) and participate in many Goshen Chamber activities. I also enjoy volunteering at my daughter’s school. My husband, daughter and I live in Lagrange County and I serve as treasurer on the Dallas Lake Association. I am also a member of several professional organizations including the AICPA, INCPA and Financial Planning Association (FPA)
